Turley Zinfandel Juvenile 750ml

Though the vast majority of our wines are single vineyard designates, Juvenile is actually composed of a variety of young vines that have been replanted in several of our best old vine sites. We tag the younger vines then pick them separately and make a distinct wine. Juvenile vines range in age from about 6-25 years, and we pull from a selection of our best vineyards across California.

Barrels: 95% Used Oak, 5% New / 80% French Oak, 20% American

The nose combines sweet red fruits, roasted plums and leather with autumnal, spice-driven accents. The palate is medium-bodied with detailed layers of easygoing, succulent fruits. The finish is welcome dustier and more structured than the nose and palate would suggest and concludes with a bright spine of quenching acidity
