Blackened Cask Strength Volume 1 starts with the classic award-winning blend of North American bourbons and ryes, married and finished in brandy casks. Each batch undergoes a “Black Noise sonic enhancement while in cask, then is bottled at cask strength without chill-filtering—delivering a rich, viscous texture and intensely bold flavor.
Following previous limited edition cask strength batches, Blackened has released Volume 1 for nationwide release as well as selected provinces in Canada. The Cask Strength bottling features the same blend of straight rye and bourbon whiskeys which are married and finished in “sonically-enhanced” brandy barrels. Volume 1 is bottled without chill-filtration at 61.4% ABV (122.85 proof).
