This is the distillery’s signature bourbon, named after a 4th generation family member, Carl Theodore Huber. After 4 years of aging in new, charred American Oak, this Carl T. is finished in a Spanish Oloroso Sherry barrel for over 8 months. This finish provides notes of dried cherry and orange citrus that complement the characteristic flavors of our flagship bourbon

Aroma: Swirling scents of dark red fruits with a dusting of cinnamon and nutmeg open up with each sip, followed by whiffs of rich chocolate, melted butter, warm mulled wine and seasoned wood.  Green peppercorns produce an extra prickle of spice on the nose, giving it even more character.
Palate: delicious tobacco flavors that accompany red wine notes amd hints of black cherry soda, plums, dates and ripe apples that all combine for a huge fruit-filled mouth punch. Honeyed sweetness rounds everything out to keep this bourbon balanced.
