An intense and deep Supertuscan that represents very well the potential of the three vines that compose it. The Castello Banfi Summus is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese, and Syrah and boasts a deep ruby color with aromas of blackberry, black cherry, and hints of vanilla and spice. On the palate, it is full-bodied with a rich, velvety texture and flavors of dark fruit, leather, and a touch of smokiness.
Cabernet Sauvignon 60%, Sangiovese 33%, Syrah 7%
Long aging wine that perfectly pairs with rich and savory first courses and meat dishes.
