At 93proof, this liquid starts off as a Kentucky Straight Bourbon Aged 4-5 years in American Oak barrels and then finished for up to 6 months in a variety of Hungarian, Chinkapin, and French Oak barrels.
Everything we do is grounded in whiskey tradition – up to a certain point. This bourbon starts as a Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. Then we finish it in three different oak casks sourced from around the world. We blend these toasted HUNGARIAN, CHINKAPIN, AND FRENCH OAK BARRELS together to achieve a distinctive profile that pushes the boundaries.
- Color- Golden Caramel
- Nose- Fresh, ripe apricot balanced by rich toasted oak, with highlights of honeysuckle blossom
- Palate- Bold baking spices from the oak with subtle hints of brioche and vanilla custard. Top notes of red plum anchored by fresh tobacco and leather tannins
- Finish- A pleasant spice, lingering notes of nutmeg, black pepper, and cardamom, with a refined sweetness of brown sugar, and molasses
