Our 2022 Dark Horse Sauvignon Blanc is a light, crisp wine from sun-drenched vineyards in California. Fragrant citrus aromas of lemon and lime flowers rose from the glass. The mouthfeel is bright what layers of pink grapefruit with sliced green apple. This wine finishes clean with a touch of green melon.
The grapes for this Sauvignon Blanc were selected from some of the most prolific vineyards in California. The 2022 growing season was warmer than normal with average crop yields. Increasing temperatures hastened harvest during August, which produced smaller yields of highly concentrated berries.
