It blends harmoniously with traditional Tuscan dishes: pappardelle with wild boar sauce, bistecca alla Fiorentina, roast game, and strong, hard cheeses. It also goes with rustic pasta dishes, wild game, grilled red meats, and moderately aged pecorino cheeses.

Made with 80% Sangiovese, 10% Merlot, and 10% Syrah, this opens with black-skinned berries, leather, and tobacco aromas. The smooth, savory palate offers Morello cherry, star anise, and licorice alongside polished tannins.
