This Pinot Grigio comes from the Friuli region, which is widely recognized as one of the best regions for luxury Pinot Grigio in the world. The fruit is handpicked from hillside estate vineyards that are carefully tended to create a fuller-bodied Pinot Grigio with expressive fruit and mineral character.
Terlato Family Vineyards Friuli Pinot Grigio is a light gold color. Bright notes of white peach, pear, and spring flowers. Complex and layered with ripe peach, pear, citrus, and a mouth-filling texture with crisp mineral finish.
93pts Tasting Panel– Minerality is as striking on the nose as it is on the palate. Gem-like citrus notes combine with honeysuckle, almond, and cinnamon-dusted apple. Delectable and fuller-bodied than most Pinot Grigios from this region, with a bite of juicy pear on the finish.
90pts Vinous– The 2023 Pinot Grigio is a total pleasure on the nose, blending crushed almonds with white flowers, wet stone and freshly sliced nectarines. It’s soft and round with a stimulating core of acidity to balance. A sour lime tinge nicely offsets ripe orchard fruits. The 2023 leaves a mineral note lingering, finishing crisp, refreshing and with medium length.
