It is made in the Veneto region of northeastern Italy, and is one of the region’s most prestigious red wines. Aromas of moist underbrush, tobacco leaf, prune and clove slowly take shape on this. The soft approachable palate offers dried cherry, prune, brown pepper and a confectionery note alongside rounded tannins and fresh acidity.
