Our Old Rickhouse Rye Whiskey starts with sweet mash fermentation and distilled in our copper pot stills, this straight small batch Rye Whiskey is aged in new American Oak barrels for a minimum of 4 years, then blended and bottled at 92 proof. The result is a sustainable small batch rye whiskey displaying distinctive hints of sweet caramel and vanilla. The prominent characteristics of rye exhibiting classic spice notes which shine through, making for a long smooth finish.
A 4.5-6.5-year, small batch blend of Old Rickhouse rye with two distinct mash bills. This blend was transferred into new Seguin Moreau Vanilla Toast Barrels and 5-year air dried, heavy toast Canton barrels for additional aging.
Tasting Notes: Intense oak notes, enhanced vanilla flavor, and mellowed rye spice to add layers of complexity.
